Highlights!
DeLong Student Council and Girl Scouts Build Bluebird Houses
|
|
Members of DeLong’s Student Council and DeLong Girl Scouts
built bluebird houses recently with the help of Rick Koziel
and Larry Bennett from Beaver Creek Reserve. The houses were
then placed on the DeLong school grounds in hopes of
attracting nesting bluebirds yet this spring. The students’
efforts are part of the Eau Claire Area Bluebird Restoration
Project sponsored by Beaver Creek Reserve.

DeLong Middle School
provides a positive and diverse learning environment for
students. The many opportunities available at DeLong are
intended to allow every student to find his or her “niche” and
to grow as an individual as well as academically. Students and
staff focus on literacy, embrace the district core values, work
on participatory citizenship, and stress academic excellence.
